The Future of Robotic Surgery: An Integrative Review

Robotic surgery has emerged as an innovative technology in medicine, enabling many of the most complex procedures to be performed with high precision and minimal invasiveness. This paper aims to analyze the future of robotic surgery, addressing the evolution perspectives and the challenges that this new technology faces. A literature review methodology was employed, selecting high-impact scientific articles in the health
field that explore the advancements, applications, and limitations of this technique. Results indicate that despite the high costs associated with the technology and the need for specialized training of the surgical team, the various benefits of robotic surgery, such as reduced recovery times and lower complication rates, are significant. Additionally, the integration of this technology whitin the Unified Health System (SUS) is discussed, emphasizing the importance of considering accessibility and professional training. It is concluded that the future of robotic surgery is promising, requiring the medical community to work together to overcome challenges and maximize the benefits of this innovative approach.
