ANÁLISE DE TÉCNICAS DE MONITORAMENTO DE SISTEMAS PARA GESTÃO DE IMPRESSORAS EM AMBIENTES CORPORATIVOS: UMA REVISÃO DA LITERATURA

Abstract

This study analyzes different system monitoring techniques applied to printer management in corporate environments. It is justified by the growing dependence on such technologies in business routines, cost reduction needs, and the pursuit of operational efficiency. The general objective is to investigate, through a bibliographic review, the main monitoring tools and practices, evaluating their functionalities, benefits, and impacts. This is an applied, qualitative, exploratory-descriptive study, based on secondary sources such as articles, technical reports, and manuals. The results show that tools like PaperCut MF, Equitrac, PrintFleet, HP Web Jetadmin and SDS (Smart Device Services) can reduce supply costs by up to 30% and improve equipment availability by up to 40%, especially when integrated with Business Intelligence systems. These solutions automate maintenance alerts, organize data by department, and allow for quota control. The discussion highlights the importance of sustainable and strategic printing management practices, contributing to both operational efficiency and environmental responsibility. It is concluded that proper use of these technologies represents a competitive advantage for companies aiming at smart digitalization and strict resource control.
