Abstract

Digital accessibility is a fundamental right, yet millions of people with disabilities still face significant barriers when navigating the web. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a promising tool to address these challenges by enabling technologies such as automatic image description, video captioning, and adaptive user interfaces. This paper explores the application of AI in assistive technologies for web development, highlighting recent tools, practices, and studies that demonstrate how AI can enhance digital inclusion. Using a qualitative approach, the study discusses the benefits, limitations, and ethical considerations involved in implementing AI-driven accessibility solutions.
