Abstract

The incorporation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into processes and operations in the service sector has had a significant impact on the contemporary job market. This study, developed by undergraduates in the Systems Analysis and Development course and co-authored by Professor Walter Rodrigues de Andrade, provides a technical analysis of the advancement of AI and its influence on the automation of functions, the evolution of professional profiles, and the demand for new skills. Based on a review of recent scientific literature, the study identifies the most significant transformations caused by intelligent automation, highlighting the replacement of repetitive operational tasks, the emergence of new specialized occupations, and the need for constant updating of technical skills. The analysis shows that AI acts as a vector for increased efficiency, productivity, and precision in services, promoting the reconfiguration of the job market with the generation of added value. The conclusion is that the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the job market is positive, as it enhances the creation of strategic functions, improves operational performance, and expands the possibilities for professional development in the current technological context.
